Easter is now here
Christ and egg hunts do not mix
Candy cross children?
We missed church today
The kids do not understand
Bunnies rule today
Let’s celebrate life
With yellow marshmallow chicks
For death we roast them
Thanks for the rise dude
Hallmark is your biggest fan
You should make them tithe

Haiku tongue-in-cheek or not (and it was excellent Haiku) I despise the commercialization of Easter–simply because, like Christmas, it is about money and profit, and nothing to do with belief or faith. Lovely, to the point Haiku! ~R
I appreciate the comment. And yes, it is quite a shame.
brava Lorre, well skewered. continue…
I hope it wasn’t too overcooked.
As only you can write it! 🙂
Thank you and from the haiku queen herself.
Great Easter Egg, baby!
I said “egg” by the way, not “eggs”!
Your enthusiasm inspires me. Don’t let that egg thing happen again!
~STANDING OVATION~ I completely bite at haiku, and this was terrific!
Thanks Red. I tried to make it my own, despite the holiday.
